Integrative Healthcare Consultant

By training, I am both a Naturopathic Physician and a Registered Nurse. I am licensed as a Naturopathic Physician by the state of Washington. I graduated in 1993 with a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, and have been licensed since 1993. While residing in the state of Iowa I use the designation “Registered Nurse, Naturopathic Doctorate” or because Iowa does not yet recognize Naturopathic Physicians in this state.

In my role as an Integrative Healthcare Consultant, and as a Registered Nurse in the state of Iowa I limit healthcare support in Iowa to that allowed by my nursing license. I do not practice medicine in the state of Iowa. Of course I still use the benefits of my Naturopathic Doctorate education in an educational capacity. I have been a licensed healthcare practitioner since 1979; beginning as a nurse.

My practice has always focused on an integrative approach to healthcare, with an emphasis on endocrinology and cellular signaling, with an integrative and functional approach which encompasses adrenal, thyroid and glycemic function, as well as women’s hormone health and men’s hormone health through support of optimal cellular signaling, which he supports with foods, nutrients, phytotherapies, essential fatty acids, co-enzymes, adjuvant therapies and systemic enzyme therapy.
